Welcome to Star Thoroughbreds!
Located on almost a thousand acres of fertile ex-dairy land, Star Thoroughbreds is an elite training and breeding farm in sub tropical Green Horse Fields. Featuring nearly a mile of beach frontage, over three hundred acres of natural forest and bush land, as well as several fresh water creeks and spring fed dams, the property is truly a paradise.
If you're here to see our horses, you can go right ahead and find them in these barns and pastures: Racehorses, Youngstock, Mares, and Stallions. Be careful though, some of them may bite!
If you want to see our horses in training, stroll down to our training facilities. We are fully equipped with a ten furlong turf track and an eight furlong dirt track. Both feature an incline and decline. As we are only a short trail ride from the beach, you may like to view our horses testing their stamina as they gallop in the sand, or watch them enjoy a refreshing swim in the ocean. We have a few miles worth of trails, some are a steep climb to the cliffs above the beach, others are gently undulating with creek crossings. For our horses recovering from injury, and those needing a lower impact exercise, we also have a water treadmill and heated swimming pool.
If we are in negotiations for a breeding, you will need to read and agree to our breeding contract. Then you can send us the official breeding request. It's the same if you are looking at one our of horses for sale - the contract is for both sales and breeding.
