Matty is strong willed, spirited, and generally has a good nature. Like both his parents, he is very competitive and if he loses, he holds a grudge against the horse who beat him. On the track you'll usually see him showing off in some way. He'll either have his neck arched, his tail in the air or he'll be gunning it down the straight. Off the track, Matty is typically good to handle, although he isn't above biting people or other horses.

Flying Colours is a grade two Hall Of Fame inductee. He was crowned Best Sprinter three years running and won the Breeder's Cup Sprint. He is the sire of successful filly Seraphim, who won the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Sprint in Y10, and Forbidden To Fly, who won the Breeder's Cup Juvenile in Y11. Fatal Attraction was on the verge of grade three when she sustained a serious injury during a workout. She is the dam of successful sprinter Royal Assassin.
