Hottie is far from just a pretty face. She's a bit of a firecracker with a temper to match. Instead of lashing out when she's in a mood, Hottie will take the bit in her teeth and run. On the track she is forever on her toes and likes to showoff in the paddock and the post parade. She is quite a competitive little thing, so as long as there's someone to beat she's determined to win. Off the track, Hottie isn't usually aggressive but if someone starts a fight with her, she'll finish it. Towards people she is fairly nice natured, but she is a mare so there are times when she just won't cooperate. She can be incredibly hard to catch when she feels like it and it has taken the whole of the barn staff to corner her and catch her before.

Grade one stallion Gorgeous George retired with a record of 66-20-24-12 and won the Azalea Cup, Breeder's Cup Juvenile Turf, Dream Cup, Full Moon Derby, and Unicorn Horn Turf. He is the sire of Georgie's Girl, Beautiful Liar, In The Spotlight, King George and Prima Donna. Lawliet's Girl was sired by HOF Merry Bay King and foaled by Bluebell Sonnet. She was also grade one and retired with a record of 72-22-25-15 after winning the Continental Cup, Universal Cup, Pegasus Stakes, the Tropical Rainforest Invitational, the Cox Plate and the Caulfield Cup twice. She is also the dam of Classy Girl.

Like her dam, Hottie can run comfortably and successfully anywhere in the field. It just depends on the competition. She does like to break fast, and will settle into a position by the end of the second furlong of the race. Her move time depends on her race position - if she runs up front, she leaves her break until late. If she's running from the back, she'll close hard and fast from about two and a half furlongs, depending on the length of race.
