This colt is impressive, and he knows it too. He seems to know where he comes from, and he acts like royalty. He is very demanding and very dominant. Impress can also become aggressive if things don't go his way. On and off the track, Impress is arrogant and fiesty and makes a point of being difficult to handle, just to show off for anyone who may be watching. If there's a camera, you can be sure he's posing for a photo. During races he is very focused and likes to run the race with little interference from his jockey while during workouts he is always on the lookout for someone to race.

Impress's sire is very well known, as the first Triple Crown Champion of Green Horse Fields. Not only that, but he also won four Breeder's Cup races and was Racehorse of the Year twice. He is sired by Merry Bay King and out of Bank On Silver. Born To Fly was an amazing grade one racehorse before sustaining a serious injury, which eventually caused the end of her career. At retirement, she had won about 20 of approximately 44 starts. She is the dam of Born To Soar, who is the first ever Triple Tiara champion of GHF, Y10 Racehorse of the Year, and winner of two Breeder's Cup races. Born To Impress is related to a lot of great racehorses.
