The dignified way she holds herself is how she got her name, rather than her sire. She moves delicately, yet with such purpose. It's breathtaking to watch. She has such beautiful conformation, and all four of her paces are smooth and very well balanced. She has just one flaw - her attitude. Amira is hard to handle from the ground or her back, and she misbehaves until she gets her way. It takes a very strong, skilled rider to keep her in check, which GHS can fortunately provide. Once she's going though, Amira is one heck of a runner.

Because she's quite hard to handle, Amira is usually positioned just behind the leaders. She is quick to break from the gate, and goes right to the rail from whatever gate she was in. Marissa holds her back until there is a decent number of other horses in front, then lets her run at a comfortable pace just behind the leaders. Amira makes her move at about two furlongs to go.
