The first born of Hall Of Fame Inductees Rising Fury and Everyday Hero. Rising Fury, her dam, was one incredibly famous racehorse, both because she won a heap of huge races, including the Breeder's Cup Classic, Dubai World Cup, Melbourne Cup and Preakness Stakes, bringing her record to 87-41-24-13 at the point of retirement; and because of her extreme temperament. It was a struggle trying to find the perfect stud to help balance the temperament and match the sucess, but we eventually decided on Everyday Hero. He wasn't quite as good as Fury in terms of racing success, but he loved his running and had a mellow temperament in comparison to Fury, so we used him to breed Rising Fury. Eleven months later, out popped a little bay monster who wanted nothing more than to bite and kick and run. As soon as you've spent one minute with this girl, whether on the ground or on her back, you know she's Rising Fury's daughter. Vinny is a nasty piece of work - she's got bite, buck, bolt and kick down on her to-do list twenty-four seven. In fact, it's like she's a clone of her dam. Vinny is exceptionally hard to handle, just as Rising Fury is. She's got speed, stamina and will to win - she's shown us this from birth. When racing, Vinny tends to get over excited, then annoyed and eventually furious if it isn't going her way. Unfortunately this can affect her placing sometimes, but she strives to win always.

Everyday Hero is an ex grade one racehorse who was very versatile. He had no notable wins in Green Horse Fields but did well on foreign tracks, bringing his record at retirement to 51-18-15-9. Rising Fury was an exceptional mare who rose quickly to stardom, both because of her temper and her racing success. Entered in the Hall of Fame, Rising Fury was also very versatile and won notable races such as the Preakness Stakes, Dubai World Cup, Breeder's CupClassic, Melbourne Cup and Unicorn Horn Classic. She retired with a record of 87-41-24-13.

Racing Style:

Vinny may be versatile when it comes to distance and surface, but there's no way Marissa can make her run anywhere but first place. This filly has some serious speed and stamina, and is perfectly capable of leading a race wire to wire. She is always, always first out of the gate, and always assumes the front runner position, preferably a half length to a length and a half in front of the next horse. If anyone tries to take her over, the filly matches them stride for stride, except she always comes out on top. One thing about her is her attitude issue, which is something that can probably never be resolved. She remains quite content as long as her jockey doesn't interfere with her plans too much in the race, and if no one tries to pass until the final corner. If things don't go her way, the filly gets even more fired up and quickly furious, causing her to bolt at top speed for the remainder of the race,which accounts for most of her losses. She wins if she gets angry at just the right moment, or if the race goes perfectly to her plan. One thing about Vinny that sets her apart from the rest, however, is the fact that her fighting spirit never loses will. She will never give up.
