EUPHORION AND BLAZE STELLA AND SILVERIANNA
Recently, Silverianna was not running to the best of her ability. She had not won since the second week of March, and had placed second, third, fourth, fourth and fifth since. She had been checked time and time again for injury, but there was nothing wrong with her. It was suggested she had reached her peak, but her workout times were still getting better. So she was just in a slump. Bad luck, race after race. Well, not anymore. Stella vowed to get the filly over the line in first place in their next race. She had to ride Ianna to the top. Ianna had to live up to her legacy. She had to make her parents proud.
As for Euphorion, his results hadn't been so bad. He hadn't placed out of the top three, and he'd won the race before last. But that was the only race he had won since November, and he had raced nine times since then. Euphorion was also in a slump, and Blaze worried it was his fault. Was the young stallion simply not as willing to run for him as he was for Sarah? Blaze, like Stella, had repeatedly checked the colt's legs for signs of injury. Na-da. Euphorion had been bred to be a superstar. After all, he had Bank On Silver, Merry Bay King, True Enough and Euphoria's blood in him. All of them were Hall Of Fame inductees. Euphorion had it in his DNA to do better.
