Registration Number: #1108
Registered Name: True Fire
Nickname: Fire
Age: Four years (Y8)
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Dark bay
Height: 16.2hh
Gender: Colt
Personality:One of Fire's other nickname is the Energizer Bunny because he never seems to be still. The colt is almost always in motion, pacing or fidgeting when he can. If given the opportunity, Fire is skittish out of sheer boredom. Although not much actually scares him, Fire is inclined to take off to give himself something to do. At the track he can be a bit of a handful as he prances about. Although it is better to let him because if he doesn't have the ability to move the way he likes, Fire is also has the tendency to stress out. He is quite the expert at working himself up, especially on race day (trailers are obviously the work of the devil). Unfortunately it's this stress that helps him run at his best. On the track Fire is his most calm because he has been given the chance to move however he likes (and that's normally fast and forward). Fire loves to run.
Pedigree: Native Flame x Deabuelle
Pedigree Comments:Native Flame was a grade 3 racer and retired with a racing record of 30-9-8-6. Fire's dam, Deabuelle, was a very nicely bred mare. Her sire was the famous HOF stallion True Enough. Deabuelle was a grade 4 racer and retired with a racing record of 14-4-2-4.

Race Record: 10-1-2-3
Grade: Five
Surface: Dirt
Distance: 8-11 Furlongs
Leg Type: Closer
Racing Style:Like father like son, Fire prefers to come from behind. Out of the gate he enjoys an easier pace so that he settles near the back. From that position he waits while his competition tire themselves out. The mud that gets flung into his face doesn't seem to bother him for the most part. Unless the track is sloppy, he seems to make his move earlier if sludge is being kicked up into his eyes. Whenever the time, Fire stalks through the group. Slowly weaving his way through as it seems he has a knack for finding open spaces. When he can see the open stretch, that's when he takes off. There is something about the emptiness, even with horse running near or by him, that calms him. The only problem is if he catches that glimpse to early, as he is not good at listening to his jockey past that point.
