His most notable wins included the Universal Cup on turf and the Breeder's Cup Classic on dirt, making him not only versatile in distance but on surfaces too. He is the sire of G1 stallion Here's The King and Hall of Fame stallion Pegasus Wings. Fatal Attraction was on the verge of grade three before retiring at age three.

Assassin is practically a suicidal front runner. He breaks from the gate faster than you can blink, and quickly gets into position right at the front of the pack. If anyone tries to take him over, he pins his ears and runs faster. Because of this, he has built up the stamina to handle running at high speeds for short distances, and can easily lead a race wire to wire at 5-7 furlongs.
