Ness lives up to her name, and is generally a nice horse to be around. She has never been known to bite or kick or act otherwise aggressively towards her handlers, although she can be a little difficult to handle when excited or frightened. On the track, she is very outgoing and if she sees an opening in front of her, she'll go for it. Ness is also quite competitive and loves going head to head in races. Getting in front too easily bores her so she prefers to run with a few horses in front of her until the stretch, so she can really have a good sprint against them to win.
