Flashy would be an understatement when talking about Star. She's gorgeous of course, and she thinks that she's better than any other horse out there. She lives for attention. She has tendancies to become jealous when another horse gets more attention than her, so you must praise her if your in her presence or she might have a nip in store for you. Star can never stand still and she will always dance around in the paddock before a race - she's just like her dam in that sense. Star loves to race and she works hard to get to the winner's circle. She also loves winning just because she likes proving she's faster than all the other horses in the race.

His notable wins included the Unicorn Horn Juvenile, Seaspray Cup, Spring Cup, Starshine Sprint and Starry Night Stakes. Sired by Beyond The Limits, Beyond His Candy is a half brother of Limitless Time, Prize Me Proud and After Dusk, all grade one. Flashabelle, sired by News Flash and out of Deabuelle, was nothing special on the track but she is related to many who were. Deabuelle was sired by True Enough, who has many notable offspring, and so Beyond The Stars is related to Euphoria, Lusitania, Flashy Wings and more.

With a strong closing kick and a love for coming from the back of the pack to win, Star is a natural closer. She starts late, mostly due to her prancing and dancing in the gate but also due to her rider preparing to position her correctly. She runs at the back of the pack, in second to last or last position depending on the size of the field. In the last two furlongs she goes wide and closes hard and fast on the win, usually cinching it by a short margin.
