Registration Number: #1499
Registered Name: Great Revenge
Nickname: Rev
Age: Two years (Y12)
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Grey
Height: 16.2hh
Gender: Colt
Personality:Rev is a colt hell bent on winning. He's inherited his dam's and grandam's tendency to be a little crazy and quite aggressive, as well as their strong ability to lead races wire to wire. From his sire's side he inherited a real arrogance, causing him to think he's a gift to the world. On the track Rev is tough to handle. He needs a strong and experienced rider to keep him from getting aggressive with his competitors and workout partners, as well as hold him back from running flat out from the start. He could be a sprinter with his speed, but he was bred for mile and classic distances. Off the track Rev is no different. He isn't opposed to biting or standing on toes, so his handlers need to be just as competent on the ground as his rider is on his back.
Pedigree: Bank On Greatness x Vindictive Fury
Pedigree Comments:Bank On Greatness is a grade one stallion sired by grade one Hall Of Fame stallion Merry Bay King and out of grade one Hall of Fame mare Bank On Silver. He is full brother to Impressario, also inducted in the Hall of Fame with a mass of achievements. Greatness' biggest achievement was winning three Breeder's Cup races, the Juvenile, the Marathon and the Dirt Mile. He retired with a record of 71-24-18-12. Vindictive Fury is a grade one mare sired by Everyday Hero and out of Rising Fury. Her attitude greatly affected her racing until her last season, in which she was undefeated in ten races between February and November. She retired with a record of 71-23-18-19. Rev is her first foal.

Race Record: 13-7-1-2
Grade: Three
Surface: Dirt
Distance: 7-12 Furlongs
2F Distance Extension applied
Leg Type: Front
Racing Style:Rev is a front runner, through and through. He can't stand to be behind another horse and needs to always be at least a step ahead, but preferably at least a full length ahead as he will sometimes lash out at horses that get too close. Rev breaks from the gate like a rocket and takes up position on the rail. He makes his move as soon as the stretch is straight out in front of him.
